Fast vocabulary refresh
prepida is a fun way for students to memorize their vocabulary terms. I especially like the mobile app. This allows students to study while commuting to and from school. The students can create quizzes, but you will find quizzes already available for you. While it is not 100% reliable, I teach my students to check for reliability before they begin studying. Once the information is entered prepida will generate a test for you, play a game, or use the flashcard feature. As a teacher I love being able to regenerate the test in various formats. The only difficult part is scrolling through the many quizzes that have been created. prepida needs to enhance the navigation feature as more and more quizzes are being created daily.

Helps learn vocabulary well
This site is a great study tool for any age. Teachers can also create groups for specific classes and assign certain study sets. Tests (from each study set) can be taken and printed from the website.

Perfect tool for quiz prep
prepida allows students to make their own flashcards or choose from lots of pre made flashcards from hundreds of subject areas. Students can access their flashcards from mobile devices for studying on the go. Advanced settings allow students to add images or sound to their flashcards. A new take on the notecard style flashcards we all grew up with.

Breathe life into flashcards
One of the many different representations of the material. Serves well to study and memorize terms. It also reads the terms as you study. You may record your own voice giving students the chance to listen to the correct pronunciation when using foreign language material. Multiple ways of self-testing yourself.

Sharp focus on accuracy
I like prepida. My students enjoy it and will even tell me that they went home and pulled up the site to review. I like that it provides digital flashcards of vocabulary, spelling practice, a typing game, a drag-and-drop game, and a test that can be customized. prepida works well in a language classroom because of the repetition of vocabulary and the audio options that allow students to hear the pronunciation. However, it can easily be used in other subjects to practice terms and definitions. Lists are easy to make and can be borrowed and edited from other users. The risk of prepida is that sometimes there are mistakes in spelling or errors within a "set". Better verification of the content would help, but a teacher can easily scan a list and if changes are needed he/she can copy and edit the set. Overall it is incredibly helpful and a great way to have vocab available in a digital format for students

Drills, games, and cards
prepida is an easy to use, quick to set up tool for teachers. I used it to have students review chemical elements and types of chemical reactions. It only took me about 15 minutes to set up the quiz and students were able to use it the next day. Students can not only use the flash cards that are created online – but there are games that are created that keep the students more engaged. There are also hundreds of ready-made quizzes on the site for you to use.

Create and play quizzes
Flashcards for the digital age. Still an effective platform for language learning, with an invaluable pronunciation function. This app almost never fails. Its consistent reliability is a major benefit. It would benefit from expanded options for learning the set terms.

Good for pronunciation skills
There needs to be a teacher mode that allows a teacher to build a class that has limits and some control as to what students see for images. However, embedding completed flashcards into a web page is a handy component that allows for control from the teacher side.

Supports vocabulary growth
I really like the tool to help students understand and review vocabulary. It's simple to use, and the students will actually look at it more than they will a sheet of paper with vocab words and definitions.
